What a doozy of a week. Work is bananas. Daylight savings started. I’ve been reading Interview With a Vampire. I’m not sure if I’m human anymore. Who cares about a photo?!
I completely forgot about this week’s photo. COMPLETELY. There have been so many other things on my mind and on my calendar that it slipped right past. And then it’s been completely dark for what already feels like days. But this morning I woke up early to go vote and decided I’d get my fall photo on the way to work. I passed so many gorgeous driveways lined with trees and EVERY SINGLE ONE I told myself to turn around. It will only take 30 seconds. No one will know you were ever there.
But I didn’t. And I’m mad at myself for it. Ugh.

I so wish I had that perfect picture, but instead of a snap of the stretch of road I love most coming and going from my house. Horse farm on the left, cattle ranch on the right and soft rolling hills lined with black fences. This right here is Kentucky. THIS. You won’t see this inside the city of Louisville, but outside it’s everywhere.
Besides being my favorite place to drive, the colors are changing of course. You can’t see it too well, but this is what I got this. Here’s to hoping next week is better for me.
Week 46: A Good Match
What’s that even mean?!
Don’t know, but you get to tell us!
This week is wide open for interpretation to the photographer. Just think about things that go well together – popular opinion or something only you think match. Food with wine, adventures with the weather, the best couple you know, a pair of sock… whatever floats your boat. Just choose your favorite to share in the Flickr group next week and TELL US what the match is!

We’re in the home stretch of 2018 Project 52 with only 7 weeks left to go! Plans for #2019P52 are underway but will stick only to Flickr. There will be some changes, but I think they’re for the better. Check out our 2018P52 Flickr group description to learn more about 2019’s project!
